Equine Assisted Therapy and Handicapped Riding of NJ is a 501(c)3 NJ non-profit Corporation and was created for the purpose of keeping the cost of equine assisted therapies affordable for the participants. (Please note that currently we do not offer scholarships but are arranging fundraisers to offer them in the future. Although our cost is considerably more than our prices reflect, we are anticipating grants, donations and fundraisers to supplement the cost. It is our mission to keep our prices as low as possible.) There are many ways to participate. If you would like to assist in raising scholarship funds please email fundraising@inthecompanyofhorses.com and visit our non-profit at www.equineassistedtherapyofnj.org

Volunteers
Volunteers are at the heart of every therapeutic riding program. Many hands are needed to assist riders with different learning abilities. In addition to the physical assistance needed, much paperwork accompanies this work. If you are interested in volunteering in any way, please write to volunteers@inthecompanyofhorses.com or call 609-330-2444Horse Park

Requirements:

All paper work must be in 10 days before beginning your session. Each student must come in to meet with an instructor or therapist for placement and review of the paperwork. New students must attend an orientation meeting with their guardians/parents prior to the start of the sessions:
